MacUser
MacUser
MacUser is the UK's longest-running Mac-focused magazine and the only one to be published every two weeks. Nik has been editing the title since 2003, covering the unstoppable rise of the iPod, the arrival of the iPhone, and the Mac's resurrection as a serious computing platform. As well as overseeing the magazine and its staff he has responsibility for its associated web site, annual awards and spin-off publications, which along with the magazine are licensed for publication worldwide. Very much a hands-on editor, he writes features, reviews and workshops alongside his regular editing duties.

Personal Computer World
Personal Computer World
Prior to taking up his position at MacUser, Nik spent seven years at Personal Computer World. Joining as staff writer in 1997, he was promoted to Reviews Editor within two years, and deputy editor within four. He remained in that position for the rest of his time at the magazine, managing the key features and technical sections and overseeing the title's transition from a primarily print-based publication to a cross-platform entity. As the UK's oldest consumer IT title, it had a loyal but demanding readership and was, at the time, the UK's best-selling monthly computer magazine.
